Why screened? With all the buzz about good fungi, here’s the truth: unscreened compost keeps those fungal strands intact. Screening cuts them into pieces - still alive, but not whole. For soil treatment and recovery, choose unscreened. For regular maintenance, screened compost is perfect and it looks nicer! You can certainly opt for both. Lay unscreened compost down first and top with screened compost for that polished feel.
