301 Organics compost is what you need to build healthy soil on your property.....around your trees, in your vegetable garden and on your lawns. It is made and curated with care and attention recovering and combining ingredients from local sources....many of the inputs you find in your own kitchen: egg shells for calcium, coffee grounds for nitrogen, yard waste for organic matter.
The 1 Gallon bag is packaged in burlap and can be used directly to strain the soil microbes to make compost extract. After drenching, the contents of the bag can be scattered on any permeable surface and the bag buried to add organic matter to your soil. Instructions for making compost extract provided upon purchase.
With all the buzz about good fungi, here’s the truth: unscreened compost keeps those fungal strands intact. Screening cuts them into pieces - still alive, but not whole. For soil treatment and recovery, choose unscreened. For regular maintenance, screened compost is perfect and it looks nicer! You can certainly opt for both. Lay unscreened compost down first and top with screened compost for that polished feel.
