Just 5 gallons goes a long way and for new plantings, a little hands‑on technique makes a big difference:

• Add a handful of compost directly into the planting hole to seed the root zone with biology.

• Loosen the roots on the tree or plant before placing it.

• Massage the rootball with compost so the roots are fully coated in beneficial microbes.

• Fill the planting hole with water before inserting the tree bulb to ensure moisture reaches the biology and the roots immediately.
  

Our compost is never hot, it’s aged over 6 months, stable, safe, and ideal for all trees, shrubs, and landscape installations. It's also unscreened to preserve the natural fungi growing in the material.
